Let Scripture
set the terms.

Scripture never opposes faith to loving obedience. It opposes grace to boasting and dead works performed apart from God.

The New Testament offers profound confidence in God alongside real warnings against falling away, hardening the heart, and refusing to persevere.

Because Jesus and the apostles connect baptism with new birth, forgiveness, union with Christ, and entry into His Body.

Christ entrusted a ministry of reconciliation to His apostles, and the Church continues that sacramental ministry in His name.

Jesus forms a visible people, gives authority to the apostles, and calls the Church His Body, household, and pillar of truth.

Good works do not purchase grace. They are grace bearing fruit through a believer who freely cooperates with God.
